Idli Manchurian

Ingredients
  • 4-5 Leftover Idli's
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 1 Capsicum (chopped)
  • 1 inch Ginger(chopped)
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic(chopped)
  • 2 Green chili(chopped)
  • 1-2 Spring onion (chopped) (Quantity depending upon length of the onion.)
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Black pepper(crushed)
  • 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup/Tomato-chili ketchup
  • 2 tsp White Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp Salt(or as per taste)
Instructions
  1. Cut idli's into 4 pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a kadhai(wok)/frying pan. Add chopped onions and saute for two minutes.
  3. Now add chopped ginger-garlic and saute for a minute. Add green chili's.
  4. Add chopped capsicum and stir fry for 1 minute on a high flame.
  5. Add soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and salt and fry for a minute.
  6. Add the idlis and mix well so that all the idlis are coated with sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot.
