Ingredients
  • 250 g Soya Chaap Sticks
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 Green chili
  • 10-15 g Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Refined oil or Ghee
  • 20 g Soya chaap masala (available in market)
  • 150 ml milk
  • 150 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander leaves
  • Salt as per taste (check the ingredients of soya chaap masala, if it contains salt then don't add salt)
Instructions
  1. Heat a pan, and shallow fry all the sticks in 1 tbsp oil on medium to low flame, till it acquires light brown color, it can take up to 6-8 minutes to acquire that color.
  2. Prepare a paste of 2 onions, 2 tomatoes, 1 green chili, and 10-15 gms ginger by grinding it into a mixer.
  3. Heat a wok, add 2 tbsp of oil and saute this paste for about 5-6 minutes or till it leaves oil from its sides.
  4. Add 20 gms soya chaap masala and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Now add 150 ml of milk and mix it properly.
  6. Add 250 gms of soya chaap and mix it well.
  7. Now add 150 ml of water and mix all the ingredients properly and cook for 10 minutes on a slow flame.
  8. After 10 minutes just check the consistency (it should not be very thick nor too watery), and adjust the salt (if required).
  9. Garnish it with fresh green chopped leaves and enjoy delicious soya chaap with roomali roti/naan or rice.
