Instructions
-
Roast sooji in a wok till it acquires whitish-brown color. Once it is roasted, Keep aside for cooling.
-
Chop onion, tomato, capsicum, green chilli and coriander leaves.
-
Take a bowl and add roasted sooji in the bowl. Prepare a semi-solid mixture by adding water slowly (if you want you can replace water with curd). The consistency should not be too watery nor it should be very tight.
-
Add all the chopped vegetables in the mixture, add salt, and mix all the ingredients properly.
-
Now apply this mixture on one side of all the slices of bread.
-
Heat a frying pan or tava, apply some oil so that it is greased properly.
-
Place the bread slices on the frying pan upside down. That means the side to which the mixture was applied should be facing down on the pan.
-
Toast the breads both the sides properly so that they have acquired a light brown color.
-
Cut the all the toasts diagonally in two halves.
-
Arrange the toasts on the serving plate and serve with green chutney and tomato ketchup. Enjoy your Rock Toast.
